Ben! has been sharing some of the amazing history of the Cherokee Nation. Chad Smith, Principal Chief, has eloquently opposed Oklahoma's idiot "English Only" Law. "The Official English policy brands Oklahoma as intolerant, closed-minded, hard-hearted, mean-spirited and oppressive to minority groups..." Very very scarily this bill could once again send the message that Oklahoma does not accept diversity. Very shameful, mean and patronizing! Almost as bad as State Rep. Sally Kern's comments about people who are gay. Hhhhmmmmm, I don't think this is the appropriate message to send to business' or individuals considering moving to Oklahoma.She is using religion (and even there it's warped)stereotypes and outright lies to justify her hate and intolerance. I'm also sure she is somehow benefiting with her reelection fundraising with this attention. Very sad state of affairs for Oklahoma. If given a choice to relocate a company to a state that is "recession-proof" and has people that allow hateful and fearful legislators to speak for the citizens the company will choose elsewhere.
