Obviously I am thankful I will have two grandchildren before I am barely 50 and it has been quite the process thinking of a grandmother name. Everyone I have known has had a precious and cute name along with a precious story. So here is mine. Patrick and I went to Eureka Springs earlier and had one of several wonderful meals. We were discussing the issue of my grandmother name and he said, "Mammy!" which is how I 'saw' it in my mind! I LOVED it!! I love love the Mammy in "Gone With the Wind" and (bonus) it rhymed with my name. I am now off to write "Love, Mami 2008" in all the books my poor son-in-law will have to read to my grandson.
