Successful purchase of my 1st Lottery Ticket

Seven Seven Seven

Here we are sitting and drinking coffee, the paper is finished and breakfast is also done. Patrick has already joked about taking a paycheck and going to a casino! It might be a good day to buy a lottery ticket --- if I knew where and how to do that. After looking at Wikipedia, I found this very cute maneki neko from Japan which urges people to purchase takarakuji tickets in Tokyo. Next I found the Oklahoma Lottery Commision. To play powerball I need to pick 5 numbers and a powerball number. I guess I could use the children's birthdates. That would be 13, 22, 26, then I could use my birthdate and Patrick's which would be 26 and 5. So a powerball number could be the average of those 5 would be 18.4. Then I could pick the 18 on one and the 19 on another. More exciting lucky lottery blogging to follow. Also today will be Ethan's debut in Snow White and the 7 Dwarves! More lucky number 7s!

Monette's New Adventure

My friend Monette has many artistic abilities. Her work is very beautiful and represents several different mediums. She has just begun to work for FrameMasters in Edmond and has already contributed her artistic skills to the window displays. Wow, she is doing an awesome job and I'm sure the owner is counting his blessings when she asked him for a part time job! My newest acquisitions from my dear in-laws are going to be 'rejuvenated' with a new look! But we have to do it very very cheaply!!!! Go Girl!

Kunek and John Mayer

One more thing . . . John Mayer has picked Kunek as his fourth song slot this past month. Ben has had nothing but wonderful things to say about this artist. He said he is very down to earth and is passionate about discovering new artists (such as Norah Jones) I have just now discovered him and am enjoying his music greatly!

FOX 25 News

Erin's friend from college, Courtney Coates, randomly found our dogs' dogster sites. We received a phone call from her a couple of months ago and I said sure whatever she wants or anything I can do to help. She then called a couple of weeks ago and we set up a date for February 4. Well Erin had her surgery, Ben had the John Mayer PR stuff to do for Kunek and I had a family workshop at Hearts for Hearing. After our family workshop Patrick and I raced off to Tulsa to see Erin and Tim. WE then came home Sunday afternoon and Courtney and Billy arrived one hour later. They were just wonderful, very kind, very solicitous, and Billy promised only flattering shots of me! (Hhhhmmm we'll see) So if you are interested tune into Fox 25 news here in OKC on Friday the 9th. Just as an aside, I am so disgusted with all of the weather alarmists on the city's 3 news stations, I was glad to hear FOX was going to have a morning program soon. They have got to be better than these other yahoos.
